Let's face it, we live in a time where everything is fast-paced and our attention span lasts as long as the flavor in Double Bubble Gum. Video rules entertainment and businesses in general, so if you want to "get ahead" in your industry, you need to have a reel that showcases you, your company, or your product.  When I began viewing actor demo reels and other video ads I noticed they all had one thing in common: there was nothing special about them that made them stand out.  It's impossible to show how brilliant your work is in 3 minutes or less, so you have to capture the viewer's attention and give them an idea of who you are.  Some of my favorite reels are ones that don't have any talking in them which I call "moving headshots."
